NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) has been continuing from the inception of the college from 1987. One Boys unit and one girl unit are functioning in the college with 50 Volunteers each in every enrollment year. The Special summer and winter camps are organized in the adopt villages in which they carry on various social activities, public service and extension work in form of awareness rally, road show, cleanliness programme, plantation, repairing of roads, women education, small saving, shelter for shelter less and old age support programme. At present Prof. Prafulla Kumar Behera has been working as the programme officer of NSS Girls Unit and Prof. Basanta Kumar Mishra as Programme officer of Boys Unit. Both the Programme officer are sportive, hard working and excellent in their NSS Activities. Prof. Basanta Kumar Mishra has been awarded best Programme officer award of Fakir Mohan University in the Year 2018 and Prof. Prafulla Kumar Behera has been awarded best Programme Officer award of Fakir Mohan University in the year 2020.
