SCIENCE SOCIETY

* Whoever is a student of current Academic year or existing faculties of science stream are ex – officio members of Science Society.
* The Principal of the college is the Chairman of Science Society and one senior most faculty of science stream shall be nominated as the Vice chairman of Science Society.
* The chief function of Science Society is to promote scientific knowledge among the students, faculties and public.
* It is to plan Departmental Blending Projects, organize workshops, seminars, study tours, promote linkage, Industrial visit and invite resource persons for dissemination of scientific knowledge in the campus and outside.
* It can organize rally, camps, survey, awareness programmes and Road Shows to promote general awareness on usefulness of science in the locality.
* It can assist in research studies, Project Work, model making, incubation, Graphics, Stomatology, Sustainability, public health and Student’s scholarship.
* The Science Society can observe Annual Day facilitating discussion, debate, quiz, competition, symposium, exhibition of scientific know – how and invite the scientists to address the students.
* A fee can be collected from the student members for the purposes stated above and it can be reflected in the fee structure of the college.
* An allocation of fund can be made for the Science Society in college Annual Budget and its expenditure is subject to the proposal of Executive Body of Science Society consisted of faculty members of Science departments and due approval of the college management represented through Principal – cum – Chairman of the society.
